The Peninsula Transport Assist vehicle pool is open to a wide variety of community organisations, from schools and sports clubs to charitable organisations.

Community groups share and borrow each other’s minibuses through our central booking system. The owner of the bus is compensated up to full cost recovery.

Through this process member organisations can make intelligent use of their resources. Minibus owners reduce their vehicle standing costs by lending them out to other organisations.

Groups that do not own minibuses or who are over capacity, gain a cheap alternative to taxis or commercial hire.

Every dollar organisations save on their transport costs is a dollar that can be spent on providing other services, be that supporting more people or running more events.
